Rock Creek State Park
Rock Creek Station State Recreation Area is a 40-acre campground located next to Rock Creek Station State Historical Park. Visitors can enjoy both the campground’s natural beauty and the historical park’s visitor center and grounds. Reservations are available for half of the electric campsites.
The recreation area features Electric, Basic, and Basic Equestrian campsites. There are 25 camping pads with 30-amp electrical hookups. Registered campers have access to a modern shower and restroom building. Drinking water and a dump and fill station are also available on-site.
While half of the electrical campsites can be reserved in advance, all other camping is first-come, first-served. Campers must register their nightly fees using “Iron Rangers” – locked payment boxes located near the park entrance or campground. Self-service envelopes are provided at these stations, which accept only check or cash payments.
